With a background in technology, digital media and corporate finance, Stephen works with investors, entrepreneurs and regulators to identify, qualify and maximise the opportunities in this emerging frontier.
Daragh is a highly experienced business and marketing consultant. Over the last 20 years he's worked with some of the world's biggest brands. Background in marketing, communications, brand building, change management and sustainability.
Head of Consulting
David is an experienced consultant and analyst who leads Prohibition Partners´ consultancy team. Before joining Prohibition Partners, David ran the market analysis team and consultancy services for the leading market intelligence company in the electronic cigarettes sector. He has also held several roles in the clean energy sector and was a manager in Tax and Legal at PwC.

Eoin Keenan is a cannabis expert and communications consultant. Eoin works across Cannabis Europa, Europe’s premier medical cannabis event, ECH, Europe’s cannabis investment group, and Prohibition Partners, delivering high-quality content, creative and communications strategies to help grow the brands and businesses. With a background in branding, insights and intelligence, business development and technology, Eoin has co-founded and run his own digital technology company before a successful exit in 2015.
Head of Insights
Alexandra is Prohibition Partners´ Head of Insights, bringing almost 20 years’ experience of insight-driven data analysis for blue-chip clients. With a background in market research, Alexandra has worked for some of the largest research houses (Euromonitor and Mintel) and also as a consultant to clients across varied industries (e.g. advertising, mobile phone, town planning, and emerging currencies). She is skilled in qualitative and quantitative analysis and draws from a range of research techniques including big data and social listening.
Paula is an international lawyer, trained and qualified in civil and common law systems. Paula is fluent in German, French, Spanish and English. Previously, Paula has acted as an analyst of electronic cigarette regulatory systems and as a foreign lawyer in the dispute resolution teams of leading international law firms in Paris. Paula is a member of the New York Bar, qualified to practice law in France and holds a BCL/LLB (JD equivalent) from McGill University in Canada.
Barbara is a consultant with a multidisciplinary background ranging from social to technical sciences. Prior to joining Prohibition Partners, Barbara held various consulting positions, from energy to process reengineering, with a focus on regulated market analysis and investment strategy. She is fluent in English, Spanish, Italian and French and holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations from LLUIS Guido Carli University and an MSc (Econ) from Aberdeen University.
Prior to joining the consulting team at Prohibition Partners, Erik worked in the sales and marketing team at a small pharma company. He was also the founding member of 2 successful startups, one focused on digital marketing technology, and the other on conservation. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Erik holds an MBA from IESE, Barcelona.
Will is an experienced digital and social media marketer, having worked in a variety of industries from nursing homes to bodyguards. He studied Video Production at The University of York before joining his friends digital marketing start-up as a graduate.
Katrin Magnussen has a BA (Hons) Journalism from Goldsmiths’ University of London and editorial roles include founding editor at the Stephen Lawrence Trust’s SLIK magazine, assistant editor at Modern Times Review and features editor at The Bugle. Katrin has more than 15 years’ experience as an analyst working for Mintel International, Euromonitor International and Carma International.
Claire has 16 years of experience in market intelligence and editorial work and has worked extensively with the market leaders in the research industry. Through her own consultancy she has broadened her experience in the world of PR and editorial content and has worked closely with glossy magazines such as Elle and Homes & Gardens. Claire was also a regular features writer at Grand Designs.
Maria Lupan is a graphic designer focused on creating impactful visual aids. Maria brings data to life through infographics, presentations and illustration.
Angela is a visual Designer specialising in branding and strategic communication with more than 8 years of creative experience in advertising and design agencies, creation of corporate identity, editorial design, communication manuals, photography, digital graphic design and new media.
