DENMARK LEGALISES MEDICAL CANNABIS PERMANENTLY, BUT ‘LUDICROUS’ SUBSIDY GAP REMAINS

Denmark has officially passed legislation which will solidify its long-running medical cannabis pilot programme as a permanent fixture of its national healthcare system in what has been described as a ‘victory for patients’. First announced in November 2024, the medical cannabis bill (L135) has undergone an extensive consultation process.
