Conor Green Announced as Official Sponsor of Business of Cannabis: New York

Prohibition Partners and Business of Cannabis are happy to announce Conor Green, a leading tribal cannabis consultancy firm, as sponsor for the inaugural Business of Cannabis: New York on Sept 29, taking place within the iconic Rainbow Rooms, at the top of the Rockefeller Center.

Conor Green works with Native Tribes and Tribe Members seeking to enter the legal cannabis industry through an experienced team of cannabis executives, investors, lawyers, tribal business owners, and governmental affairs. Conor Green aims to develop long-term partnerships with Native Tribes rather than acting solely as consultants, helping Tribes to diversify economically and create new jobs, training opportunities, career development and entrepreneurial opportunities, as well as a revenue and profit generator for the tribe itself.

Since 2015, Conor Green and the Shinnecock Indian Nation in Southampton, New York have developed and created a successful cannabis partnership. Shinnecock established its own Cannabis Regulatory System and a Tribally Licensed and wholly owned Medical Marijuana Business (Little Beach Harvest), which will open its doors in late 2021. Shinnecock’s vertically integrated operation includes a state-of-the art cultivation & processing facility, a brand new modern 2 story dispensary, and an adjacent holistic medicine lounge – all on their ancestral lands.

Conor Green provides legal and regulatory guidance, capital, operational experience, joint ventures, vendor & distribution relationships, branding, community outreach & education, and all other facets of tribal project development needs.

“Conor Green is thrilled to be participating in NY’s Business of Cannabis event, as this is an exciting time for New York’s cannabis market, while bringing forward a voice for Native Americans entering the industry. We cannot have true social equity and minority inclusion without ensuring that Natives have a rightful seat at the table. What the Shinnecock Nation (on Long Island) and its partnership with TILT Holdings is doing sets a new bar on how tribes and the mainstream/Wall Street cannabis industry can work together successfully. Our congratulations to Governor Hochul’s nominations of Tremaine Wright to the Cannabis Control Board & Chris Alexander to the Office of Cannabis Management.” – Todd Bergeron, Managing Partner

We are thrilled to welcome Conor Green as Business of Cannabis: New York sponsors, at such a formative, crucial time for the future of what will be a burgeoning industry in the state.

Help shape the future of cannabis is New York on September 29.
